Partnership Collective Spotlight: Oasis Fertility Support Network

Interview by Meaghan Kay, Head of Marketing at myStoria

We believe collaboration, not competition will shape the future of fertility and wellness care. That belief is what inspired The Fertility & Wellness Collective, a group of visionary partners across healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, and advocacy who all share one mission: to put people at the center of their care.

We’ll regularly spotlight one of our partners to explore how they’re helping reshape the fertility experience. We’re kicking off the series with Oasis Fertility Support Network, whose compassion and community-first approach deeply inspire us.

I sat down with Oasis FSN co-founders, Erin and Tiffany to talk about what inspired their work, the power of community in fertility care, and how they see collaboration shaping the future.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about Oasis FSN and what inspired its creation?

Erin and Tiffany: Oasis FSN was created by people who have been through the desert of infertility and discovered the incredible power of community. It started as a small support group in Barrie, Ontario, where we met others who truly understood what we were going through. Those connections changed everything. We wanted to make sure everyone struggling to build their family had that same support, a place where they could feel seen, understood, and guided. That’s what inspired Oasis FSN.

Q: What gaps in fertility care or patient support were you hoping to address when you started?

Erin and Tiffany: We noticed that while there was a lot of medical support available for fertility patients, there was very little emotional support. Family building isn’t just a medical challenge, it’s an emotional one too. It can be lonely, isolating, and mentally exhausting. We wanted to make emotional support accessible and free. Fertility treatment is already expensive; emotional care shouldn’t be another barrier.

Q: Your community brings together such a diverse group of people. What needs do you hear most often from your members?

Erin and Tiffany: We started out supporting people going through treatment but quickly saw a need for support at every stage. Now we have groups for secondary infertility, pregnancy after infertility, postpartum, intended moms, single moms by choice, men, and even fertility care workers. Each of these groups faces their own unique challenges, and our goal is to ensure everyone can find community within Oasis FSN, wherever they are in their journey.

Q: Why is community such an important part of the fertility journey?

Erin and Tiffany: Infertility is incredibly isolating. It’s not talked about enough, and many people feel left behind by friends or family who don’t understand what they’re going through. At Oasis FSN, people finally get the chance to share their stories, learn from each other, and leave with renewed strength and hope. They make friends who “get it,” and they find others who can check in during tough moments. That kind of connection is life-changing.

Q: How do you see tools like myStoria complementing the support you provide?

Erin and Tiffany: Fertility treatment can be overwhelming, practically and emotionally. Oasis FSN helps with the emotional side, while myStoria brings structure and clarity to the practical side. Together, we can help patients feel more in control and supported, reducing the overall overwhelm that so many people experience.

Q: You’ve joined the myStoria Partner Collective. What made this partnership the right fit?

Erin and Tiffany: Oasis FSN and myStoria share the same North Star. We both care deeply about supporting people navigating fertility challenges. We can’t imagine a better fit — us offering emotional support, and myStoria providing tools that help patients stay organized, informed, and empowered.

Q: What impact do you hope this partnership will have for your community?

Erin and Tiffany: We hope this partnership empowers our members to advocate for themselves with their care teams and find the answers they’ve been searching for.We also hope they see that there are organizations out there like myStoria that genuinely care about them and their journey.

Q: From your perspective, what could the future of patient-centered fertility care look like if we all worked together?

Erin and Tiffany: Right now, many patients feel like they’re being pushed through the system with little control or emotional support. We want to change that. When clinics, educators, and digital health platforms like myStoria work together, we can make fertility care truly patient-centered, a system where people feel informed, confident, and supported at every step.

Q: What advice would you give to someone just starting their fertility journey?

Erin and Tiffany: Find your community! No one should go through this alone. It’s so important to connect with people who understand and can offer real empathy and guidance.

Q: What’s next for Oasis? Any exciting projects or initiatives you can share?

Erin and Tiffany: We recently launched the I Can Do Hard Things Fertility Journal — a resource packed with mental health tools, journaling prompts, coloring sheets, and cycle tracking pages for anyone trying to conceive. We’re also developing a psychoeducational support program for fertility care workers, a project we’re really passionate about. It’ll give staff the tools they need to care for both their patients and themselves. We’re always dreaming up new ways to support the fertility community.
