A fertility blood panel measures hormones that tell your provider about your cycle and ovarian reserve, such as AMH, FSH, LH, estradiol, and thyroid levels. Some are timed to a specific cycle day. Here is what to prepare, what to ask, and how to follow up.
Check whether any test needs to be drawn on a specific cycle day, since several are, and whether you need to fast beforehand. Note the first day of your last period so the timing is clear.
List your current medications and supplements, including hormonal contraception or fertility medications, since these can affect levels. Write down what you want to understand from the results.
The visit itself is quick. Confirm the tests being taken and, if any are cycle-timed, that today is the right day. Ask when results will be ready and how you will get them.
Take notes as the doctor talks, record the meeting (with their permission!) in myStoria, or add a quick voice note to myStoria as soon as possible afterward so that you are not relying on memory alone.

When results arrive, note the values and what your provider says they mean together, since these hormones are read as a set rather than one number. Keep them with your cycle notes.
If a test needs repeating on a different cycle day, book it for the right window. Bring your earlier results so any trends are visible.
