myStoria opens its personal health record app to every health journey, with AI that organizes your records and Medical Insiders for $20 a month.

Kitchener, Ontario (October 23, 2026) — myStoria, a Canadian patient-owned personal health record app that works for the patient and only the patient, today announced that members can now connect Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. In a few taps, members can bring up to 12 months of health data from their phone into myStoria, where it sits next to their medical records, lab results and appointment notes.
Being a patient is a full-time job, and the remembering is one of the hardest parts. Your records live with your family doctor, your specialists, the hospital and the lab. Meanwhile your phone may have spent months counting your steps, sleep, heart rate or cycle in a separate app. When you walk into an appointment, you are the one who has to connect all of it, usually from memory.
Getting your health history into one place is real work. You find the files, take photos of paper and upload them one at a time, and many people stall before they finish. The new integration gives you an easier way in, because the health data your phone already tracks comes over in a few taps with no files to find.
Here is how it works:
You stay in control of timing. You start every import and every update, and nothing runs in the background. The connection is read-only, so myStoria does not write anything back to Apple Health or Health Connect.
Fitness and tracking apps show you the numbers. myStoria puts them next to your records, where they become part of your health history. The AI reads Apple Health or Health Connect data the same way it reads an uploaded lab report, and notable moments appear in your health timeline. When you message a Medical Insider, a trained professional on the myStoria Concierge team, they start from the same full picture you see.
The result is a better conversation with your healthcare provider. You walk in with your records, your symptoms and a year of sleep and heart data in hand, so the appointment starts from the whole picture instead of from what you can recall. We maintain it. You own it.
"Most of us carry a year of sleep, heart and cycle data on our phones, and it almost never makes it into the room when we need it," said Jessica Chalk, founder and CEO of myStoria. "Every part of healthcare is built for someone else: the chart, the insurer, the benefits budget. We work for the patient. Only the patient. Chasing down your records is a full-time job, and we will keep doing that work for you. Bringing in what your phone already knows should take a few taps."
Chalk is clear that the problem is the system, not the people in it. A provider working from one short appointment can only use what is in front of them. A member who arrives with records and their own numbers in hand gives that provider the full picture from the first minute.
The Apple Health and Health Connect integration is available now in the myStoria app on iOS and Android in Canada and the U.S. The integration is free for all members, and the app is free to download. Medical Insider support is $20 USD a month. What comes in depends on your phone and the apps and devices that already share with Apple Health or Health Connect. Learn more at mystoria.com.
