Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF)

If you've had multiple embryo transfers that didn’t stick despite good embryos and a seemingly healthy uterus, you’re not alone. This is called Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF), and it’s one of the most frustrating and emotionally draining parts of the fertility journey.

One emerging treatment being explored for RIF is called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. It’s made from your own blood, which is spun down to concentrate the platelets and healing growth factors.

This concentrated solution is then infused directly into your uterus to help boost the health and receptivity of the endometrial lining essentially creating a friendlier environment for an embryo to implant.

How PRP Works

PRP is rich in substances that support tissue repair, blood flow, and cell growth. When infused into the uterine lining it may:

  • Improve endometrial thickness
  • Enhance cell-to-cell communication
  • Increase receptivity for implantation
